My rutorrent container is configured as follows

In the wiki it says to configure sonarr/radarr as follows

I configured it as instructed

As you can see I get connection refused. I have tried every combination of things I can think of and I just cant get it to work. If anyone can help me figure this out I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

For the host have you tried rutorrent? Just rutorrent, not fully qualified. Do not use the internal ip address as this may change. If you use the hostname "rutorrent" then you will connect using the plexguide docker network.

Chasing some help with this, Deluge is not as good and qbittorent wont unpack rars

I managed to open the ports and even get password protection running using https://plexguide.com/threads/password-protect-rutorrent.576/

I can't get sonarr to connect to it though. I too have tried all 3, before and after the password mod.

Also even though the container has /unionfs /mnt/unionfs in volumes rutorrent cannot see that drive mapping.

Please help?

Got it to connect after trying random details. Turns out port 8999 doesn't connect but 80 does..

Host - rutorrent
Port - 80
Url Path - RPC2

Thanks @fr0sty!! This is the only working solution I could find across the forum for getting Sonarr/Radarr to be able to see Rutorrent.
Your welcome mate, we are all working out this stuff together :)

@Admin9705 maybe you could update the wiki page with this info

Host - rutorrent
Port - 80
Url Path - RPC2

I'm using rutorrent with sonarr/radarr with ports closed and traefik deployed and previously had it working with rutorrent as the host specified in the download client's settings, but at some point that stopped working, now I have to use the container's ip address:

Host - 172.17.0.3
Port - 80
Url Path - RPC2
