Guides NZBGet Performance Tips

Senior Member
Recently I've been playing with settings in NZBGet to squeeze out as much performance as possible on my machine without affecting stability. This is a quick guide to help others that want to improve performance.

I have a Hetzner ex-42 (8TB) server which has a 1Gb/s unlimited internet line. I max out that line on NZBGet (@105 MB/s) with the below settings:

FlushQueue: no
ContinuePartial: No
ArticleCache: 500
DirectWrite: Yes
WriteBuffer: 1024
PostStrategy: Balanced
CrcCheck: yes
ParCheck: Force
ParRepair: Yes
ParScan: Dupe
ParQuick: Yes
ParBuffer: 1024
ParThreads: 0
ParRename: Yes
RarRename: Yes
DirectRename: Yes
HealthCheck: Yes
ParTimeLimit: 0
ParPauseQueue: Yes
- You can disable this if you feel your hard drives are fast enough to handle it.
Unpack: Yes
DirectUnpack: Yes
UnpackPauseQueue: No
DetailTarget: None
DebugTarget: None

My main provider is Ninja with 30 Connections. I've tested this on a GCE and easily hit over 200MB/s with all 50 connections enabled.
