Hi guys,

I currently use a free DDNS service to access my VPS but as I purchased my own domain for GSuites I wanted to move from the DDNS to my domain.
But frankly speaking, I have no idea how I would do that.

Anyone here that could give me a hint where to start? Any information is appreciated.
Thanks!

Thanks for your reply.
Wondering why I shouldn't use the gsuite domain, any particular reason?

I am also interested in why you shouldnt use the gsuite domain....I have 1 gsuite user and use the same domain for that as all my plexguide subdomains. So far no problem(only been about 2 weeks). Does this open me up to a greater chance of being shutdown by google?

thats maybe possible .

but you can use a free domain ( go daddy ) for Gsuite ACC
and one payed oder another free domain for all other

rule 1 : never share your drive
rule 2 : dont use the same domain for all
rule 3 : never give access to the server for other people

Just sharing my plex server, no one but me has access to my dedicated server or any other plexguide containers.

Also I am looking at godaddy and dont see anything about free domains. I am in the USA if that matters.

@Stroodle96,

I would be interested in how exactly did you point your domain to your server.

I bought a domain while signing up for GSuites and by default it points to a 404 page of Google. Apart from that it also has some subdomains like calendar.domain.xy, docs.domain.xy, mail.domain.xy, etc.
As I don't use these services I would simply remove them but am wondering if there might be a problem with deleting.

Quite unexperienced in this matter as I never did such a thing like this...
