Look at the EX series of servers from Hetzner. If you are in the UK, you shouldn't have any peering issues. You can get the EX52NVMe with plenty of power, memory and 1TB NVMe SSD with your budget.
Although this has fixed the 429 API errors, I'm still showing a shitload of errors on my console. Something else is not working correctly. Looking at this graph, there are still very high levels of errors for:

I rebooted the server and disabled Cloudflare to no avail. Guess we have to wait for google to fix it.
